Maree West-Linnett
Maree has a long history as a top level athlete and is currently on a mutli-sport scholarship to Aquinas College, Michigan. Maree will be available for sessions at Funks Corner when she is home during her off-season.
Whilst Maree is now at the elite level of Ice Hockey in the USA, she has been exposed to elite level basketball as a junior growing up here in Melbourne. Maree has had the opportunity to learn from some the best basketball coaches in the county during her junior VJBL career and has a passion for passing her knowledge on to aspiring players. She has coached basketball teams at a variety of levels and her teams are built on fundamentals, inclusion and above all enjoyment. Maree specializes in coaching school age groups, giving young players a solid foundation in the sport that they can build on. We are lucky to have her broad experience available to us.
